What a joy it was to be a part of our dear friends' Commissioning Ceremony while in Colorado this past month. Rick has been attending Denver Theological Seminary for the past year pursuing his dream to become a Chaplin in the U.S. Navy. Family and friends, from far and near, gathered to wish him the very best while words of encouragement were softly spoken accompanied by prayers that God would continue to guide his way. All we have to say is, way to go Shaffer!
